Poisonous Plant Information

The Guide to Poisonous Plants is a searchable, online database of plants known to be poisonous to animals. It is provided by the James L. Voss Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Colorado State University.

Search the Guide

Search the database by plant name (either common or scientific) or poisoning symptoms.

Please note that the guide “is for reference only, and does not include all plants that can be toxic to animals. If you are concerned that your animal has ingested a poisonous plant, contact your veterinarian immediately.”
