We are working with stakeholders in southwest Colorado to test strategies to improve the efficacy of rangeland restoration. Learn more.
Compost on Irrigated Pasture
There is a lot of interest in improving soil health, sequestering carbon in agricultural soils, and using alternatives to commercial fertilizer. We are testing compost in irrigated pasture in western Colorado as an alternative to fertilizer. Learn more.
Virtual Fence in Eagle County
Thanks to a Conservation-Innovation Grant from the USDA -NRCS we are testing the feasibility of using virtual fencing as a tool for adaptive grazing management in highly mountainous terrain. Learn more.
