If you are a veteran grazer or land manager, or even if you are new to the game, this will be an opportunity to revisit what you thought you knew about grazing management, and what you can do to reach your land health, conservation, and livestock goals.

This webinar will feature new research from a long-term grazing study, how we got to our assumptions about grazing management, and what this means for grazing planning on lands you manage.

Hosted by Annie Overlin and Retta Bruegger of CSU Extension and featuring David Augustine, Justin Derner and Lauren Porensky of the USDA Agricultural Research Service, with Rachel Meade of the USDA – NRCS.

AgriTech Workshop Series: On the fence about Virtual Fence?

Upon registration, you will receive a calendar invite for the event. More details will be emailed to you as the date approaches.

Description

Please join us Wednesday March 12 from 6-7:30 pm for dinner and a workshop about Virtual Fence.  Virtual fence uses invisible barriers, established by Global Positioning System (GPS) coordinates, to influence livestock movement without a physical fence.  Hear from a rancher and from a recent research project on the benefits, challenges and considerations to learn if this technology can benefit you.
